The speaker will be hybridizer extraordinare, Joe Ghio, going back and giving you, “In the Beginning.” There will also be two judges’ training sessions, Riley Probst on “Reblooming Iris,” and Bryce Williamson on “Color Patterns in Bearded Iris.”

Bring your blooms for the reblooming iris show on Friday. The set up for the show will begin at 3 and close at 4:30. You have a great choice of local restaurants for Friday night’s dinner. Saturday’s lunch will be provided. Of course there will auctions so bring your purse and check book.

This is also the weekend Santa Cruz County celebrates Open Studios so there will be art to see on your way home along with all the attractions Santa Cruz has to offer.
